Our primary PPO, the PHCS Network is accredited by URAC as a Health Network, and is certified by the National Committee for Quality Assurance for credentialing.
The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) is a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving health care quality. Organizations earning the NCQA seal must first pass a rigorous, comprehensive review and must annually report on their performance. For consumers and employers, the seal is a reliable indicator that an organization is well-managed and delivers high quality care and service. MultiPlan's PHCS Network has earned NCQA certification for Credentialing.
URAC is an independent, nonprofit organization well-known as a leader in promoting health care quality through its accreditation and certification programs. URAC offers a wide range of quality benchmarking programs and services that keep pace with the rapid changes in the health care system, and provide a symbol of excellence for organizations to validate their commitment to quality and accountability. URAC ensures that all stakeholders are represented in establishing meaningful quality measures for the entire health care industry. MultiPlan's PHCS Network has earned URAC accreditation for Health Network.
